Harborside Event Center

Harborside Event Center is a 40,000 square feet center that is known today as the Caloosa Sound Convention Center & Amphitheater. It has just opened following the debut of a hotel in the downtown area of Fort Myers, Florida. The major construction company that renovated the center is the Mainsail Development of Tampa. It is also responsible for building the Harborside Event Center. The Harborside Event Center took two years to finish. The project is about $92 million that includes hotels, restaurants, and main amphitheater. The new amphitheater is a collaboration between the local government and the company. Currently, they are also seeking for sponsorships that would further enhance the event center. Today, the area is very spacious and there are features that were added to the facility.

The Harborside Event Center is close to the towns of Cape Coral and North Captiva. Bowman's Beach is a nearby beach area and popular for families. It offers both swimming and picnic areas.
